Here are the BEST Ways to Beat Back-to-School Blues

We can all agree that this is a tough time of year for everyone. Kids are faced with back to school anxiety, the days are getting shorter, and summer is coming to a close. In order to pick up our spirits, we have created a list of some of our favourite things that will be sure to cure even the worst cases of the Back-to-School blues!

1. Get out there and enjoy the last few days of summer! Many companies are offering last minute deals on items such as paddle board rentals, discounted amusement park entrances, and summer clothing sales!

2. Look back at summer fondly for the rest of your life with a scrapbook from Shutterfly! You will remember all your days filled with laughs and sunshine while creating your book of memories.

3. Make an awesome drink to share with your girlfriends while catching summer's last few rays. No drink quite matches the summer season like sangria, try one of our favourite recipes here!

4. Is your child returning to school this fall? The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends making the first day of school as easy as possible by arranging for them to walk to school with another child they know and packing them a healthy lunch to get the year started right.

5. Check out Girl Two Doors Down sale on our glamorous blue flip flops! All of our blue shoes in EVERY style are 40% off. These flip flops are guaranteed to lift your soul, especially if you choose the platform design ;)

6. Nutritionists have been able to compile a list of foods that are proven to boost your mood. Check out recipes that include: pumpkin seeds, lamb, honey, asparagus, and even dark chocolate! Foodie or not, you are sure to be able to fit some of these ingredients into one of your upcoming meals!

We hope this list will be able to give you some ideas of what to look forward to for the fall! Have any more suggestions? We would love to hear from you in the comments!

xoxo
